Dr. Jeffrey D. Harris, MD

Dr. Jeffrey D. Harris received his medical degree from the University of Eustatius School of Medicine, Louisiana. He completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA.

While at Louisiana State University, he was awarded the prestigious Resident Teachers Award and was part of the Society Teachers of Family group.

Upon residency completion, Dr. Harris practiced in Alexandria and Shreveport serving as resident state representative for the LAFP (Louisiana Academy of Family Physician).

After this, he decided to move instate to practice in Clinton prior to Greenville. His love for the area and the community were the determining factors in making Greenville home to his wife Dr. Danielle Harris and infant child.

Outside of his love of practicing medicine, Dr. Harris enjoys several outdoor activities including golfing, fishing and exercising.

As a total family care expert in the community who's been published in the Journal of the Louisiana state Medical Society, May 2003 edition and the Atlas of Primary Care Procedures, 2nd edition, Dr. Harris has dedicated himself to spreading knowledge about his work towards helping others while providing the best possible care for every patient at any life-stage.

His special interests include skin care, sports medicine and outpatient family medicine.

Dr. Jeffrey D. Harris, MD is board certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
